Transparency, Data Security, and Terms of Use for Kisan Calculator: Kheti Hisab
Introduction
Welcome to Kisan Calculator: Kheti Hisab ("we," "our," or "us"). We build reliable, accurate, and easy-to-use digital tools for farmers, tractor operators, and agricultural communities across India.
This Privacy Policy explains how our mobile application handles user information, our adherence to Google Play Developer policies, and how advertising networks operate within the app. By installing or using our application, you consent to the practices described in this document.
Data Collection & Offline Storage
We deeply respect the privacy of farmers and businesses. Our application is engineered on an Offline-First Privacy Architecture:
No Account Required
You can use all features, calculation modules, and ledger tools immediately without entering personal login credentials or phone number registrations.
No Contact Syncing
We do not access, scan, or copy your personal contacts address book.
Zero Background Tracking
The app does not track your physical GPS coordinates in the background.
Third-Party Services & Google AdMob
To keep this application available for free to farmers, we display advertisements provided by Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK).
Google and its advertising partners may collect and use certain non-personal device information (such as Google Advertising ID, device model, operating system version, and general network state) to deliver contextual or personalized advertisements in compliance with applicable laws and Google Play Developer policies.
- Google Mobile Ads (AdMob): Used for displaying banner and interstitial advertisements.
- Google Play Services: Used for core platform functionality and app integrity checks.
You can learn more about how Google handles user data and advertising privacy by visiting Google's official Privacy Policy:

Device Permissions Transparency
Our application requests only the minimal permissions necessary for regular functionality:
- INTERNET & ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Required to load live agricultural weather information and fetch Google AdMob advertisements.
- VIBRATE: Optional haptic feedback when operating buttons and timer controls.
- FILE PROVIDER: Used exclusively to allow you to export or share payment slips or Excel (CSV) ledger sheets when you explicitly click the Share or WhatsApp buttons.
Please read this disclaimer carefully before relying on calculations generated by the application:
- Informational & Estimation Tool Only: All calculations provided (including tractor rental hours, diesel costs, trip rates, land area conversions, crop yield estimates, fertilizer NPK dosages, loan interest, and EMI schedules) are mathematical estimates intended for guidance only.
- Field Variances: Actual agricultural results, soil nutrient requirements, and field measurements can vary based on local conditions, tractor model efficiency, weather, soil type, and regional standards. Always consult qualified agronomists, soil testing laboratories, or financial experts for critical decisions.
- No Government Affiliation: Kisan Calculator: Kheti Hisab is an independent utility app developed for farmers and is NOT affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any governmental agency, department, or agricultural board.
- Commercial Transactions: Rental agreements, mandi transactions, and financial arrangements made between farmers, operators, and third parties are the sole responsibility of the respective parties. The developer holds no liability for disputes, errors, or financial losses.
Children's Privacy Protection
Our services are intended for agricultural professionals and general audiences. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal identifiable information from children under the age of 13. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately so we can take appropriate steps.
Data Security & User Control
Because your records are preserved locally on your smartphone, you maintain absolute control over your information:
- Immediate Deletion: You can edit or delete individual khata entries, bills, or calculations at any time directly in the app.
- Complete Wipeout: Clearing the app storage or uninstalling the app permanently purges all saved local records from your device.
- Safe Export: Export your data to standard CSV spreadsheets to keep your personal offline backups.
Updates to Privacy Policy
We may periodically update our Privacy Policy to reflect app enhancements, updated regulatory guidance, or Google Play policy revisions. Any modifications will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
